Helping my dad plan his first sim - he has no tech experience

My dad is 68 and retired. He wants a golf sim but has zero tech experience. Can barely use his iPhone.

Requirements:

• Has to be SIMPLE to use
• Turn on and play, no complicated setup
• Budget around $8-10k
• Space: 15x15 basement room, 8.5ft ceilings

My questions:

1. What's the most user-friendly launch monitor?
2. Is there a software that's particularly simple?
3. Should I get an all-in-one package vs building?
4. How much ongoing maintenance/troubleshooting?

I live 3 hours away so I can't be there to fix things constantly. It needs to just work.
