8 foot ceiling - can I even make a sim work without hitting the ceiling?

Basement has 8' ceilings (really 7'10" after flooring). I'm 5'11".

Everyone online has 9-10ft ceilings. Is 8ft even possible?

Willing to modify swing, choke down, use shorter clubs. Realistic?
