R10 users - what settings/tweaks made the biggest difference for you?

Just ordered an R10 after lots of research. It arrives Friday and I want to hit the ground running.

For those of you who have been using it for a while, what settings or setup tweaks made the biggest improvement in accuracy/consistency?

Specifically wondering about:

• Optimal distance from ball
• Lighting requirements (I have a pretty dim garage)
• E6 vs GSPro vs Garmin Golf app - which shows most realistic numbers?
• Any calibration tips?
• Mat recommendations that work well with the R10
