Ceiling mount vs floor/shelf mount - which do you prefer?

Getting ready to mount my projector (BenQ TH671ST) and trying to decide between ceiling mounting it or putting it on a shelf behind the hitting area.

Ceiling mount pros: Out of the way, cleaner look Ceiling mount cons: Harder to adjust, might get hit by errant clubs?

Shelf mount pros: Easy to adjust, easy access Shelf mount cons: Takes up space, might be in the way

For those with overhead launch monitors (like Uneekor), did you have any issues with the projector interfering?

My ceilings are 9ft if that matters.
