HomeCourse retractable vs fixed impact screen - durability comparison?

My wife has approved the sim but only if I can make the space usable for other things. Looking at the HomeCourse retractable system.

My concern is durability. We have two kids who will definitely be hitting balls too (they're 10 and 12). Will a retractable screen hold up to that kind of use?

Anyone have a retractable that they use heavily? How long have you had it and any signs of wear?

Alternative is to build a fixed screen on a frame with hinges so I can fold it against the wall. Less elegant but might be more durable?
